Grimsby (Big Talk, Studio Canal, 2016)

Publicist Katherine McCormack Wherry and myself had enormous fun working on Sacha Baron Cohen’s action comedy with director Louis Leterrier. On location in South Africa for nearly seven weeks, and at Pinewood & Elstree studios I shot behind the scenes and conducted interviews with key cast and crew for producer, friend and frequent collaborator Nira Park.

Grimsby was released in the UK with a 15 certification. The content of the special features I produced with editor Paul Trewartha, and approved by the filmmakers, were so outrageous that they caused the BBFC to push the certification of the Blu-ray release up to an 18 and a warning had to be put on the cover for ‘EXTREMELY GRAPHIC CONTENTS’.
